RESILIENCE ABA
Providing ABA therapy services in the natural environment
with the goal of empowering parents to maximize a child’s potential.
What is Autism?
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a developmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, behavior, and sensory processing. It's called a "spectrum" disorder because it affects individuals differently and to varying degrees.
In-Home Support
Extensive teaching is often necessary for a child to exhibit skills learned in one setting to another. Teaching in the child’s natural environment maximizes critical learning time in a child’s development.
24/7 Support
In addition to increasing social communication skills, in-home programming allows for natural opportunities to increase adaptive living skills such as dressing, toileting, and mealtime behavior.
ABA Therapy
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is dedicated to increasing desired behaviors by breaking skills down into small, teachable units. ABA is useful in decreasing maladaptive behavior by teaching appropriate replacement behaviors. ABA therapy has been proven effective in teaching across skill areas including improving communication, social adaptiveness and play.
Numerous studies have demonstrated that ABA interventions can lead to significant improvements across populations including ASD. Intensive ABA has shown positive outcomes inclusive of success in the general education setting with same aged peers.
